ALL ABOUT US + WHY
Hey Ya'll !!!I'm Braxton Foster, the gal behind the Outdoor Threads Company!I'm 22, Christ follower, farm wife - married to my best friend, Logan Foster, works on the family farm full time. We have 3 fur babes; Sadie, Honey, and Bandit. We live out in the middle of nowhere, quite literally, and we couldn't be happier with it! I enjoy spending my time reading my bible, working out, walks with my dogs, quality time with the hubs, shooting guns, fishing, hiking, mowing, honestly anything outdoors count me in!!
Ever since I was little, I've always enjoyed being outdoors. It didn't matter what we were doing, where we were going, I enjoyed it all. Especially getting to see the mountains, being out on the water, or in the woods, there's just some things about nature that draws me so near to it. So naturally, I worked jobs all through HS being a helping hand with livestock, excavating, mowing yards, landscaping, and such. As I got older, I knew I wanted to have a career where I did just that. So I ventured around and went to carpentry school, worked on jobsites for 1 yr 1/2, it took a lot from me physically + mentally to where I struggled to pour into Logan so I walked away from it. I went back to something that also came easy to me, working in the food industry serving. I worked at a local coffee shop for another 1 yr 1/2. Prayed about the job after a while and I was feeling called to more, so I put the 2 weeks in and didn't have a job. Haven't had one since Nov. 2025. In the meantime, I continued to pray and use my time with my hubs when I could, more time with the dogs, working out and bettering myself mentally, and running my own schedule. This past May, I've been very eager to have something to work towards. To create something I'm passionate about. To get back to who I was in my roots before I got married, someone who did things they enjoyed again. Not that it was taken away from me, but I simply stopped making my interests/ things I'm passionate about a priority and put them on the back burner. Such as fishing, shooting, hiking, having livestock and taking care of it, and gardening. And Honestly, I've never felt more sure that this is where I'm meant to be. Encouraging + showing you to get outdoors and do the things you love to do. Supporting the Midwest lifestyles one day at a time. That's my why :)
Get out in God's creation, admire it, explore it, + enjoy it.
